Antiquity Rose

How has it taken me this long to write about Antiquity Rose? After all, it’s staring through my window -- morning, noon and night.

Since 1974, Antiquity Rose has been a trademark of historic Excelsior sentimentality. With an essence that’s ambiance is truly unrivaled; this mom-and-pop fueled restaurant effortlessly blends kitsch and elegance all into one experience.

From the moment you walk into the quaint old house, your senses are treated to a wave of old fashioned charm. Antique furniture and trinkets abound a series of humble rooms, each one guaranteeing to catch your eye on something unique. What I love about this place is that everything, and that includes the table right under you, is for sale. It is an antique lover’s paradise in virtually every way.

Head over to the dining room and have a seat as Mike, “the local dish technician,” whips you up something special right from scratch. Every meal is crafted with exceptional care, and this truth shines through each bite. Try the more than substantial homemade soup or crunch down on a salad that seems to have just left the garden minutes ago. The choices are great and the deals are even better.

Antiquity Rose is truly in rare form. Amidst the hectic push and pull of daily life, its leisurely pace and humble accessibility remind of us days long since past. I highly recommend giving this place a chance sooner than later. Should you find yourself with an appetite for some family style cooking, I’m merely a crosswalk away. So allow me, Travis Senenfelder of BSL Real Estate, to oblige any real estate questions and concerns you may have. I’d love to see you today.

All the best,
